यूँ  तो चल रहे थे बेपरवा ज़िन्दगी के राह पर हम  

हैरान तो तब हुए जब दिल ने मंज़िल की गुहार लगाई। 

English Translation:

I was taking a carefree stroll on the life's path

Soul's appeal for its destination astonished me.
