I wish I can sing like a cuckoo but my voice won't jam
I wish I can dance like a peacock but my feet won't tap
I wish I can run like a squirrel but my form never moves
My lobotomized mind, broken heart and worn-out body feels numb
I live only in spirit, trying to achieve the unachievable
While the jeering crowd around me, mocks and laugh at my clumsy attempt
Fervently, I pray to rise again from the ashes of my body
So, my soul can smoothly glide like a phoenix towards eternal bliss
There, in the vastness of the universal stage,
angels swaying on sun-kissed cloud as a backdrop,
accompanied by serene melody from the golden harp
Will you dance with me once, My Lord ?
I wonder.
